     This piece was created by Rafael Serra and is a re-creation of the book title 1984. The work depicts the title with an eyeball in the 8 due to the storyline of the book. This piece caught my eye probably because the holes that are usually in the 9, 8, and 4 are not present here instead is it just a solid bubble letter. I think this piece is an excellent example of Flat style because of the use of negative space and how the title is centered but also has the author's name right below the title. Above the author's name is the number eight and that is the number that has the eyeball in it and I think that is an excellent way to show what the story could be about like being washed or something because you are elevating that number compared to the rest.  The overall color design reminds me of Halloween but I think that's what makes it stand out compared to some other re-creation of the book cover. 5 originally the book cover consist of red white black and gray however in this case it has orange black and white. I believe that is a clever way to not copy any other designs that are created but also to keep the main idea there.
