This is another piece by Darya Semenova called Chair. Unlike the other piece, Chair has color added to it. Using yellow, dark tan, black, and the use of white/negative space, it pulls together a lovely piece displaying a person sitting in a chair. The thing that really stood out to me with this piece was the negative space that was used to help create the chair. The chairs consisting of a yellow in color but on the left side of the chair, the designer used negative space/white to give the look of the chair having an armrest there. It gives the piece a folding effect without adding any depth. There is also a use of white/negative space in the leg area of the person. The designer used (a) white line/lines to show that it's a pair of pants. One other area is the book that is being held it is made of negative space, which I haven't seen just yet but it really adds a lot to the piece. I think this piece is a great example of using negative space to help enhance aspects of someone's work. There is also no detail in the face or the feet but very minimal detail in the hands.
